Welcome

Don Trautman was born in 1949, in Astoria, New York.  He relocated to Arizona in 2009. He now resides in beautiful Lake Havasu City. 

Like many  Artists, he had demons in his past. Don had a 20+ year battle with drugs and alcohol.  He began his road to recovery in 1990, with the help of God and a 12 step program. He has been a faihtful friend of Bill W. ever since.  In 2002 he was mentored by a friend and fantastic Artist named John Hafey, and has been a student of Art since.  His artistic learning is an ongoing process.  Don's medium of choice is acrylics, but he is anxious to begin work in oils...In 2006, Don entered an Art show sponsored by The Fortune Society, and placed in the 10 finalists..He had his work displayed and sold in the Furman Gallery at the Walter Reade Theatre in New York City's famed Lincoln Center...Don has also had his work published by a Christian Magazine with nation wide publication..
